WPLD Fall Storyhour

WPLD Fall Storyhour will begin Wednesday, October 4th.
We will meet every Wednesday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm in the WPLD Children’s Room through Wednesday, November 29th.
Bring your Little One to enjoy stories, crafts, games, & snacks with their Library Friends!
Registration is required. Please have your Child registered by Saturday, September 30th.

Cradle to Crayons Program

WPLD is hosting a FREE program for Parents/ Caregivers & their 0-3 Year Olds at the library.
Join “Cradle to Crayons” Playgroup Parent Educators from the Regional Office of Education #33 on
Friday, October 6th, and/ or Friday, October 20th from 10:00am – 11:30am in the WPLD Children’s Room
for playtime with other area Parents/ Caregivers.
This is a program that not only includes playtime with others, but also provides information on topics such as
child growth and development, health and nutrition, and child safety just to name a few.
No registration is required for this program.

Local Author Event at WPLD October 21st

WPLD is hosting a pre-Homecoming Parade Local Author Event with Randy Sollenberger, Billtown Bomber Class of ’67,
on Saturday, October 21st at 9:30am in the WPLD Conference Room.
Randy has published 2 books, My Guardian Angel and Beating the Reaper, and
Spoon River Country, Guardian Angels and Other Stories,
plus a music cd/audiobook “Spoon River Boys.”
His presentation will be at 9:30am.
His books will be available for purchase, and Randy will be available to sign them.
Please join us at the library for coffee, donuts, and memories from “Billtown Brother and Spoon River Boy” Randy Sollenberger.

In honor of our 2nd Anniversary at 407 Norman Drive, WPLD is hosting a free lunch on Homecoming
Saturday, October 21st from 12:00-1:00pm at the library.
This event is a big “Thank You!” to all of our great Patrons.
Stop in the library after the Homecoming Parade for a free hot dog & chips lunch courtesy of WPLD.
It’s time to celebrate 2 years in our beautiful Library home!

Chromebooks 101 at the Williamsfield Public Library

This fall:  (November) the WPLD will offer
Chromebooks: the cheapest and fastest way to the Internet!
WPLD  Board of Trustees President Randy Fritz is offering a FREE Chromebook Class at WPLD.
Call the library or stop by soon to sign up. WPLD has Chromebooks available for you to use during the class.
You will be required to create a free G-Mail account with Google to participate in the training.
Dates and times are yet to be determined according to Participant's availability. Sign up today!
